ABOUT TIDELINE
Plan with context, not promises.
Tideline is a free, independent planning reference for people exploring Oʻahu’s shore and nearshore waters. It helps organize public data before a trip; it does not replace observation, official notices or local judgment.
What the planner combines
The interactive map brings together 80 shoreline access references, NOAA weather and tide data, modeled bathymetry, mapped habitat, sunlight timing and official rule sources. Each layer has different age, precision and limits, so Tideline shows provenance and warnings instead of collapsing everything into a single “good spot” score.
What it does not claim
A marker is not a catch report, a verified casting stance, permission to enter, or proof that fishing is legal at every nearby point. Forecasts do not establish safe conditions. Users must check the actual water, current signs, closures and applicable regulations.
Independent and correction-friendly
Tideline is not affiliated with NOAA, Hawaiʻi DLNR, the City and County of Honolulu, or any other agency whose public information is referenced. If a source, access note or interface needs correction, email clouhine@gmail.com.
